Jane wrote - The most comfortable stay I’ve ever had at a Bed and breakfast. The extra touches in the rooms are excellent. A very friendly welcome from the host Julia and Iain who nothing was to much trouble for.
The breakfast was excellent cooked to perfection and a very good choice of items you don’t usually get at bed and breakfasts. I would highly recommend this lovely place
Sophie wrote - Just come home from a 2 night/3 day trip to Paignton, I’ve been coming here with family for years and Blue Waters Lodge is the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far.
Breakfast every morning was perfect, with coffee, tea and juice selections as well as fruit salad, cereal and more.
The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and homely details made our stay comfortable and personal.
The owners went out of their way to provide me with oat milk after discovering I was lactose intolerant, and left me a bottle in my room fridge so I could enjoy complementary tea/coffee/hot chocolate.
If you’re looking for a personal, home-from-home like stay, then I would highly recommend Blue Waters Lodge.
Angela wrote - Our family have been coming to Paignton area for over 50 years and this is by far THE best B&B we've ever stayed in, very cosy, homely. Hosts Julia and Iain are so welcoming, nothing too much trouble, will even pick you up from local train and bus stations for free.
Amazing steaming hot breakfast. Rooms decorated so lovely, beds well comfy. Excellent location 2min walk to sea front, lovely front garden to relax in, even have a salon on the premises.
If you are thinking of going to the English riviera for a break then look no further. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. We booked our next stay in August before we even checked out.
Kieran and Ria wrote - We spent a weekend away here, and the owners Julia and Iain were amazing! Could not be more accommodating, very friendly, and made it feel as if we were being welcomed in by family. Very good location, not far from the beach and pier with plenty going on year round.
If you are ever stuck for things to do or where to eat, Julia and Iain have some very good recommendations as well to ensure your trip will make memories to last a lifetime.
The breakfast supplied is very good, can pick and choose what you want with lots of options available, and we were spoilt for choice.
Thank you Julia and Iain, we will be returning again, 5 stars all around and we loved it!!
Colin wrote - What an absolute place to stay. The room was extremely clean and had all the thing you needed for a good break. The breakfast was fit for a king.
The owners went out the way to make you feel very comfortable and nothing was to much trouble even made room for me to park the car. Nice bar with very reasonable prices.
You will not be disappointed with the Bluewaters Lodge.

Chris and Jake wrote - This is a very very good BnB , I stayed with my 13 year old son to see friends and the air show. I have stayed in a fair few over the years and this one is exceptional.
Every little thing that makes your stay satisfying, easier and comfortable has been thought of and perfected. Wherever you turn, whatever you need while you are in that BnB is there for you.
Little touches like a simple checklist for your breakfast to leave by reception to say what you want to eat. Water in the fridge that I thought I wouldn’t need and ended up getting it filled up a few times and used it a lot. Nice smelling air freshener in the bathroom all perfectly placed, even the spare toilet roll had the triangle fold.
Beds were very comfortable and could have stayed in it all day if I wasn’t having so much fun in Paignton.
The reception area is welcoming with all the information you need and more. The decor in the breakfast room is brilliant along with the breakfasts too that were very nice , everything you need while you are eating is there too, loved the quick access to the juice, soon as the jug went down the next time you look at it it’s filled up again they are that on the ball with it all.
Your table number for breakfast are your room numbers so there is no messing about working out where to sit, it’s all spot on!!
You are both doing a great job and I am sure many others will be satisfied like myself. All the best Chris and Jake
Dhiren V wrote - Highly recommend booking this place. Stayed as a family of 4 and Julia and Iain really had thought of everything.
We arrived via train and so didn't pack a lot. They had beach mats, wind breakers etc Also had a bed guard for our little one so she didn't roll out of bed. Even the bathroom had a hair towel!
Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit and juices along with delicious porridge, cereals and cooked breakfast. All freshly cooked and great.
Beds were always made ready for when we got back and they know how to treat the little ones. A service you just don't get in hotels.
The location is perfect, short walk to sea front, town centre and station. If you book a stay here you will not regret it!

Victoria P wrote - Blue Waters Lodge is one of the best b and bs that we have ever stayed in. The hosts, Iain and Julia, are so friendly and helpful and can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Every room is spotless and the decorated lovely. Our bedroom had everything we needed and more. The rooms are refreshed everyday. The room was a good size with plenty of storage, the bathroom was a good size too and included soap, shower gel and hair shampoo, face wipes and earbuds. At breakfast we had a choice of full English, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and French pastries. All of which was cooked to perfection. Nothing is too much bother for Iain and Julia, they gave us tips on where to visit, where to eat and we’re always around if you needed help. It was like staying with friends. We will definitely being returning. All I can say is that if you are thinking of staying in Paignton, stay at the Blue Waters Lodge
