What a smashing place to stay, made to feel so very welcome, nothing was too much trouble at all, rooms were immaculate, bed far too comfy and the breakfast was stunning. Will recommend this to people and look forward very much to our next visit. All the little touches made the difference, by far the best guest house weve ever stayed in. Just returned from a three day break.Couldn't fault anything. Friendly welcome from Gillian and Paul on arrival along with a very welcome cuppa was just what we needed. Rooms were just as shown on the website as was the choice from the breakfast menu. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and all the little extra touches made you feel so special. The king size bed was so comfy and the linen spotless. Good location.Thanks Gillian and Paul.

Had a lovely weekend staying here with my two kids, the little touches made it all worth while. The room was lovely and so was the welcome we received on arrival, it was nice to sign in and then relax outside with a cup of tea. From the moment we made our reservation, to the day we left, the service we received was 2nd to none. Room was clean, and homely, towels were soft, facilities were welcoming. Breakfast were delicious and a great deal of choice. The only downside was having to go home!!

Our stay with Gillian and Paul with our two grandchildren for two nights had been booked for us and we were unsure what to expect. We were thoroughly looked after.Our hosts were lovely, breakfast set us up for the day, the rooms/suite spotless and thoughtful touches that made us and the children feel very welcome. We would highly recommend anyone to stay. Paul and Gillian were both professional but more importantly provided a homely balance that left us feeling glad to have met them, and so close to the beach to make it a good combination.

I came to Paignton and stayed for three nights with Paul & Gillian. I can only repeat what others have said - I really felt welcomed and looked after. The room was so clean and well equipped. Paul's breakfasts are to behold and Gillians service, second to none!

We were a party of four and we enjoyed Paul & Gillian's company at their bar every evening for a social chat. They recommended places to eat and all more than lived up to expectations.

Thank you both for not only your helpfulness but also your friendship. I think you gathered that we all enjoyed ourselves :-O

The accommodation was excellent as were the hosts. So friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout our 3 night stay, only booked the night before! The accommodation was meticulously clean and the breakfast was excellent. Some very helpful advice on places to eat and visit nearby. Would definitely visit again. The room we stayed in was quite compact but well equiped.
