Blue Waters Lodge Guest House - Reviews

I had a four day break at the Blue Waters Lodge and found it to be exceptionally clean and well run. Gillian and Paul were very friendly and took a personal interest in us, giving helpful advice and directions to the various attractions in Paignton. Breakfast was very enjoyable and served in a relaxed manner. A very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend the Blue Waters Lodge to all my family and friends. Adele Hill 2nd April 2013

Gillian and Paul were very accommodating in letting us book a 1 night break, as a few other guest houses in the area did not want the business. Rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable and would definately recommend this guest house without hesitation and will be booking again on next visit to Paignton. Second stay at BWL with my daughter, will always check there first when staying in the area. Rooms are excellent, hosts are extremely welcoming and always helpful with suggestions of where to visit or eat, best way to get there etc. They are both truly interested in your holiday and try their utmost to make it an enjoyable one. Spotless rooms in absolutely pristine condition. Lashings of hot water,"en suite", comfortable bed and a brilliant choice for breakfast. Top all this with a host and hostess whom are extremely affable , friendly and proud (quite rightly so) of their product and you have the Blue Waters Lodge. Just returned from a three day break.Couldn't fault anything. Friendly welcome from Gillian and Paul on arrival along with a very welcome cuppa was just what we needed. Rooms were just as shown on the website as was the choice from the breakfast menu. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and all the little extra touches made you feel so special. The king size bed was so comfy and the linen spotless. Good location.Thanks Gillian and Paul.

Our stay with Gillian and Paul with our two grandchildren for two nights had been booked for us and we were unsure what to expect. We were thoroughly looked after.Our hosts were lovely, breakfast set us up for the day, the rooms/suite spotless and thoughtful touches that made us and the children feel very welcome. We would highly recommend anyone to stay. Paul and Gillian were both professional but more importantly provided a homely balance that left us feeling glad to have met them, and so close to the beach to make it a good combination.

I came to Paignton and stayed for three nights with Paul & Gillian. I can only repeat what others have said - I really felt welcomed and looked after. The room was so clean and well equipped. Paul's breakfasts are to behold and Gillians service, second to none!

We were a party of four and we enjoyed Paul & Gillian's company at their bar every evening for a social chat. They recommended places to eat and all more than lived up to expectations.

Thank you both for not only your helpfulness but also your friendship. I think you gathered that we all enjoyed ourselves :-O
